The terms that govern your use of Fast WebP Converter: the free plan, Pro (paid monthly, yearly or once for life), the API and AI-assistant integrations.

1. The service

Fast WebP Converter ("the service") converts images to the WebP format, in your browser on the website, and on our servers through the API and integrations with AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT. The free plan allows 3 browser batches a day (the first file of each downloadable) and 50 server conversions a month with a free account. Pro gives full access: no browser limits, and server conversions up to a fair-use cap of 10,000 a month.

2. Accounts

  • An account is tied to one e-mail address. You sign in with a one-time code or link sent to it; keep access to that mailbox secure.
  • If you pay without being signed in, an account is opened for the e-mail you give at checkout.
  • API keys and AI-assistant connections act on your behalf and spend your allowance: keep keys secret, revoke the ones you no longer use.
  • One account is for one person or one organisation. Do not share an account outside your team.

3. Acceptable use

  • You may use the service for personal and commercial projects.
  • You must own the rights to the images you convert or have permission to process them, and you may only point the API or an assistant at URLs you are allowed to fetch.
  • You may not attempt to circumvent plan limits or rate limits, probe our servers or third-party networks through the URL features, or resell access to the service.
  • We may suspend an account that abuses the service or puts it at risk, and refund any unused prepaid period.

4. Plans, billing and renewal

  • Pro is one plan with full access, paid monthly ($4.99), yearly ($29) or once for life ($59). How you pay does not change what Pro includes.
  • Monthly and yearly plans are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown at purchase, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page: the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid and nothing more is charged.
  • Pro lifetime is a one-time payment. It grants Pro, as defined on the pricing page at the time of purchase, for as long as the service exists, including future updates of Pro. It never renews and may not be transferred.
  • The 7-day pass costs $3.99 and grants Pro for 7 days from the purchase. It is paid once and never renews. A pass bought while another is running adds its days after the first one ends.
  • Fair use. Server conversions (API and AI assistants) are included up to 10,000 a month per account, whichever way you pay, far above what a website needs. Contact us if you need more.
  • Prices are shown in US dollars and include taxes where they apply; Stripe may show and charge the equivalent in your local currency. We may change prices for new purchases; a change to a running subscription is announced by e-mail at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.
  • Monthly server allowances reset on the 1st of each month (UTC) and unused conversions do not carry over.

5. Refunds

Every purchase includes a 14-day money-back guarantee as described in our refund policy.

6. Your content

Images converted in the browser never reach us. Images sent to the API or to an AI assistant are processed only to convert them and to give you the result, as described in the privacy policy. We claim no rights over your content.

7. Purchases made before accounts existed

PRO bought through our earlier checkout links unlocked a browser rather than an account. Sign in with the e-mail used for that payment: the purchase is attached to your account automatically and treated as Pro lifetime.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change features and limits of the free plan, and improve paid plans; we will not reduce what a running paid period or a lifetime purchase includes without offering a refund of the unused part.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is". WebP is a lossy format when quality is below 100; always keep your original files. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
